Communications with the host fire alarm control panel are via a Remote Unit Interface (RUI) connection that allows for up to ft (762 m) distance. RUI can communicate with up to a total of 31 remote devices and can be either Style 4 or Style 7 communications. model A100-9601 substitutes a Local Mode Transponder Module for the Basic Transponder Module. Expansion Bays each include a PDI and accept a variety of optional modules (refer to tables from MINIPLEX Transponder Product Selection Battery Compartment (bottom) accepts two batteries, up to 50 Ah, that can be mounted within the cabinet.
