Communications with the host fire alarm control panel are via a Remote Unit Interface (RUI) connection that allows for up to ft (762 m) distance. RUI can communicate with up to a total of 31 remote devices and can be either Style 4 or Style 7 communications. model A100-9601 substitutes a Local Mode Transponder Module for the Basic Transponder Module.
