A U N I T O F G E N E R A L S I G N A L D W A R D S 2 FOR Numbers 502A and 503A SWITCHES catalog numbers 502A and 503A Door are all purpose electric door switch for indoor use on sliding or hinged doors in like closets darkrooms walk in re and the like The 502A switch a normally closed contact so that the will be ON when the door is open not depressed The 503A contains a contact in which case the cir will be OFF when the door is open SPECIFICATIONS Numbers AC Voltage AC Amps and 503A that power is disconnected installing the door switch door switches come with a faceplate switch assembly a backbox with four two 6 x 1 4 flat head screws wood screws and a ground screw wire nuts are required but not supplied as follows Select a mounting location for the door Remove the appropriate knockout incoming wires from the backbox In the backbox using the four wood Feed the incoming 120Vac power lines ground wire through the knockout and into the backbox Secure the ground wire to the back wall in the backbox using the ground screw the two wire leads coming from door switch assembly to the 120Vac lines using wire nuts Push the connected wires into the back Attach the face plate to the backbox using two 6 flat head screws Company Inc
