Genesis Chime Strobe Installation Sheet are field configurable options for selecting dB output signal and constant noncoded voltage or single stroke voltage operation See Figure 1 A Genesis Signal Master is required when chimes are for coded operation strobe includes a field configurable switch for selecting the candela output The candela output setting is locked in and remains visible after final installation strobe features an enhanced synchronization circuit to with the latest requirements of UL 1971 Signaling for the Hearing Impaired Synchronized operation a separately installed synchronization control module Table 2 for a list of compatible synchronization modules MG1M RM 2 Compatible synchronization module models 1 Signal Master Mount Signal Master Mount Output Module SIGA of the NFPA codes and standards and in with the local authorities having jurisdiction Electrocution hazard To avoid personal injury or from electrocution remove all sources of power and stored energy to discharge before installing or removing Electrical supervision requires the wire run to be at each terminal Do not loop the signaling circuit field around the terminals install the chime strobe Remove the cover by depressing both tabs on the top of unit with a small screwdriver and twisting slightly Genesis Chime Strobe is a fire alarm notification designed for indoor ceilings and walls See
