Combiner Splitter can be used to combine 8 inputs to provide 3 Video outputs or to combine 3 video inputs to pro 8 Video outputs This module can be installed in Concourse Home Systems HS CAB1000 HS Package installing this module verify that the package contains the following Qty 1 Combiner bracket Qty 1 8 1 Splitter Qty 1 3 1 Splitter Qty 1 F Type Elbow Connector Qty 2 Packages Self Tapping Machine Screws Qty 1 Installation Instructions Modules Locate a suitable mounting location for the HS VH3800 inside the cabinet that the unit can be installed in various positions Connect the 8 1 Splitter to the 3 1 Splitter with the elbow connector The longest end of the connector is connected to the 8 1 splitter Secure the 8 1 3 1 splitter assembly to the bracket with self tapping screws Align the two mounting pins with the holes in the back of the cabinet and as per Figure 2 Snap the module in place by pressing both sides towards the back of the Secure the metal bracket to the cabinet using the two screws With the plate in position cut the coaxial cables to the appropriate length Follow the manufacturer instructions for mounting the F type connectors correct installation Wiring Do NOT strip off cable sheathing more than required for proper termina Do NOT kink or knot cable 2 Installation Do NOT crush cable with cable ties Do NOT splice cable Do NOT bend cable at right angles or make any other sharp bends All bends must have a minimum of a 2 radius Run RG6 coaxial cable from each source destination through the cabinet to the HS VH3800 Amplifier module Label cables at both ends for Terminate cables with F style connectors Ensure that cable source destinations are F style jacks mounted in an wall plate If using a multiple wall outlet then label the jacks Connect source destination ends of the cables to the F style jacks Connect the drops to the HS VH3800 Video Amplifer module terminals labelled Terminate unused output terminals on the HS VH3800 Video Amplifer module with ohm terminators not supplied Plug in the power supply and test all connections to confirm proper installation and HS CAB3000 HS CAB4000 cabinet the right angle adaptor as shown so that longest side is vertical ensure a correct fit
