Model FDOT421 is a plug in and addressable two wire multi criteria with both photoelectric and thermal sensors whose value is increased built in ISOtechnology feature that is compatible with all current Siemens addressable systems Operation FDOT421 utilizes an infrared light emitting diode IRLED and infrared photodiode Under normal conditions light transmitted by the LED directed away from the photodiode and scattered through the smoke chamber a controlled pattern smoke chamber is designed to manage light dissipation and extraneous from dust particles or other non smoke airborne contaminants in such way as to maintain stable consistent detector operation When smoke enters detector chamber light emitted from the IRLED is scattered by the smoke and is received by the photodiode FDOT421 also utilizes a modern accurate and shock resistant thermistor to temperature changes signal processing with detection algorithms the detector to first gather smoke and thermal and then analyze this information in the neural network By comparing data with the common characteristics of fires or signatures Model FDOT421 can compare these to those of deceptive phenomena that cause
