Installation Instructions Tape for Model MMB 3 insulating tape S54431 B1 A1 for MMB 3 boards used to prevent possible shorts with the metal mount bracket GUIDELINES follow the installation instructions below to the insulating tape for the MMB 3 CAUTION equipment is extremely vulnerable to discharge Extreme care should be taken performing this procedure Notify the person in charge of the fire alarm system the Fire Department that the control panel be temporarily out of service while the tape is Power down the system battery first then the AC Remove the terminal blocks from the MMB 3 and their location on the board APPLY TAPE SHOWN LONG EDGE To remove the MMB 3 from its mounting plate the 6 screws whose locations are shown in 1 by the letter A Place the screws to one Cut the tape into 3 pieces with the following lengths 2 1 2 inches 4 3 8 inches 14 3 4 inches the remaining tape Remove backing from tape and apply along the of the back side of the MMB 3 in the locations in Figure 1 Reinstall the MMB 3 on its mounting plate using the screws that were placed to one side in Step 4 Reinstall the terminal blocks on the MMB 3 Power up the system AC first then battery APPLY TAPE SHOWN LONG SIDE OF BOARD EDGE APPLY TAPE SHOWN LONG 1 of Tape on Back Side of MMB 3 Board Industry Inc Technologies Division Park NJ 315 050546 0 Building Technologies Ltd Safety Security Products Kenview Boulevard Ontario 5E4 Canada
