Installation Instructions ZN 34US and ZN 34UA Valve Supervision Modules Sprinkler Valve Supervision Modules Model ZN and Model ZN 34UA are designed to provide circuits for the supervision of sprinkler system valves and ancillary equipment in accordance NFPA Standard 72 The module provides two LED indicators per circuit The first illuminates a supervisory condition exists and the second a circuit trouble condition occurs The module an end of line resistor in parallel with normally switches to provide this supervision Model ZN 34US provides annunciation of condi as follows when a sprinkler valve is closed the circuit is shorted the yellow supervisory is illuminated and the supervisory module output energized The output should be used to operate a AE 30U Module with an audible device a break in the circuit occurs the module trouble is illuminated and the control panel is placed in trouble The supervisory condition is non therefore the supervisory condition will if the sprinkler valve is restored to its normal position Model ZN 34UA is a latching device Operation the same as the ZN 34US except that the condition and can only be cleared through a system re after the sprinkler valve is restored to its normal position addition to gate valves other sprinkler supervisory functions such as water pressure water level air pressure and fire pump supervision be supervised with the ZN 34US UA module LEDs are illuminated when the system re test switch on the CP 35 main module is op The ZN 34US UA sprinkler valve supervision is placement supervised providing a system signal upon
