Fire Alarm Control Panel 4120 8010 Miniplex Control Panel 4120 8210 Voice Miniplex Control Panel 4120 8511 Universal Transponder 4120 8601 Voice UT 4120 8602 UT Status Command Center Voice Modules optional 4120 8801 2500 Point Network Display Unit 2500 NDU 4120 8821 2500 NDU with Command Center Job Disks Required Material following material also required 4120 Network Programmer Report for each following manner Use the Packing Lists to verify the availability of all required 4120 Network hardware Make certain that each node of the 4120 Network is installed per applicable Verify the stand alone operation of each node using the Programmer Report for that node Make certain that all network cabling Verify the network wiring throughout installed cable run that node a Node to the 4120 Network the following procedure connect a node to the 4120 Network Unlock and open the panel door Remove the retainer the following manner Remove retainer holding screws Squeeze and pull the two black plastic tabs located on the upper part of the retainer Lift the retainer from the back box Disconnect batteries and remove AC power to the unit Connect network wiring to U T Universal Motherboard Terminals TBl and TB2 Refer to the 841 731 Field Wiring Diagram the 4120 4100 Network Board into the right hand socket on the U T Universal Motherboard Configure Network Board Address Switch SW1 in accordance with the assignment that card Power up unit and connect batteries the Network all of the nodes have been connected Test point status changes Test common annunciation Test common network about point and node information point status reports and responses the network use the Network Programmer Reports to verify the Version 6.01 or later of the 4100 Programming Unit to make any corrections NET 41 003 for programming the node CFIG chips Refer to the network responses are satisfactory perform the following steps for each node Replace the retainer and the retainer holding Board Address Switch SW1 in accordance with the assignment Board in the socket on the network motherboard Network System Executive Chip s and CFIG Chip If the node Master Controller uses a CFIG Flash EPROM you may perform a direct download the CFIG EPROM without removing from the Master Controller Power up unit and connect batteries the Network all of the nodes have been connected Test point status changes Test common annunciation Interrogate Test common network about point and node information point status reports and responses the network verify the network using the Network Programmer
