appliances extended temperature and humidity range Multi candela xenon strobe with synchronized 1 Hz rate and with intensity programmable from the panel or jumper selected as 20 30 or 75 cd Advanced addressable notification controlled by IDNAC from Simplex 4100ES fire alarm control panels EPS EPS power supplies and 4009 IDNAC providing regulated 29 VRMS allowing to operate with lower current even under battery Wiring supervision to each appliance allowing connections for Class B circuits to wiring Class A circuits require in out TrueAlert Device Reports at the control panel appliance point ID custom label type and setting see sample on page 3 Magnet test diagnostics to assist checkout and testing appliances and wiring Electrical test point access without removing cover Indicator and magnet test feature Appliance LED can be selected to display each polling to indicate appliance supervision When the controller is in diagnostic mode the magnet pulses the LED to indicate appliance address and be set to also briefly flash the strobe and sound the horn design features include Rugged high impact flame retardant red housing with clear lens Standard models are available with FIRE or FEU configured models are available with lettering of FEU FIRE ALERT and blank Mounting is to matching weatherproof boxes ordered separately Separate covers are available to change application on site or for replacement wiring terminals for 18 AWG to 12 AWG Enclosure is rated NEMA 3R Convenient wiring terminal access at front of housing listings reference Strobe operation is listed to ULC S526 Horn audible visible for indoor and outdoor extended temperature extended humidity applications They are individually and receive power supervision and control from a Simplex fire alarm control panel providing Signaling Line Circuits SLCs See list on page 4 Application Reference selection of visible notification is dependent on location local codes and proper applications the National Fire Alarm on IDNAC provide separate visible and audible notification a single two wire circuit that also confirms to the individual notification appliance circuit This operation increases circuit integrity by providing supervision that beyond the appliance wiring connections current allows efficient IDNAC SLC With IDNAC SLCs a constant 29 VRMS voltage is maintained even during battery standby strobes to operate at higher voltage with lower and ensuring a consistent current draw and voltage margin under both primary power and secondary standby Efficiencies include wiring distances up 2 to 3 times farther than with conventional notification support for more appliances per IDNAC SLC or use of gauge wiring or combinations of these benefits providing installation and maintenance savings with assurance that appliances that operate during normal testing will operate during worst case alarm Reducing Installation and Testing Time With controls on the same two wire SLC installation and expense for both retrofit and new construction be significantly reduced When Class B wiring is wiring can be tapped allowing more savings in wire conduit size and utilization and overall efficiency Use of the magnet test feature installation efficiency TrueAlert device reports identify information about each connected Product Selection TrueAlert ES Diagnostics Features Controllers can be selected to pulse each LED when it receives a supervision poll the controller is selected for diagnostic mode the magnet test feature provides a response at the appliance being tested Appliance Magnet Test In this test mode in to the magnet test the appliance LED pulses to conveniently indicate the appliance Appliance Testing In this test mode the address is indicated by pulsing the appliance the strobe will briefly flash and the A V horn will sound to indicate proper operation Instrument Two TSIT The 2nd of the Simplex TrueStart Test Instrument adds of IDNAC SLC wiring and TrueAlert ES to its ability to test
