to a maximum of 50 devices must also be tested and proper system operation 72 is a registered trademark of the National Fire Protection Association Introduction to the Expansion Signal Card Expansion Signal XSIG Card provides three additional NACs for use with either an Audio NAC or a power supply card SPS RPS and XPS When an XSIG Card is for audio NAC expansion the card is programmed for operation with the specific amplifier it is expanding XSIG card must be dedicated to provide either all Audio or all DC notification these cannot be mixed of the XSIG Card Provides three 1.5 A Class B NACs for Audio or DC notification Switches between two power audio input sources for example dual channel power stage switching Accepts Class A Adapter and Class B Expander for a total of six Class B NACs or Class A NACs per card that can be used with audio or DC signaling Accepts constant supervision audio NAC module for a total of three Constant NACs per card for use with audio signaling only When configured for use with non alarm audio quickly and automatically switches an audio source when a signal is detected at either input Supports earth fault isolation in conjunction with the source NAC supplying the card XSIG Card also supports the WALKTEST system test as long as the following programming are followed Custom Control must be written to turn on the NACs when the Group pseudo turns ON Lists can be created for the NACs to allow you to have them turn ON when different are activated However a Custom Control equation would be required for WALKTEST group equipment to accompany the XSIG card consists of the following Expansion Signal XSIG Card XNAC increases the quantity of Class B from three to six Expansion Signal XSIG Card Class A Adapter upgrades the three on NACs to Class A Expansion Signal XSIG Constant Supervision NAC replaces the on card with 3 Class A B Constant Supervision NACs on next page Equipment to the Expansion Signal Card Continued Signal Card 1 is an
