Goal Why 2001 Digital Message Player will not Play Message 2001 Audio 2001 6068 Digital Message Player 635 587 2001 6046 Tape Player 635 306 2001 3042 Timer 556 245 Digital Message Player not playing message Replaced the Tape Player 635 306 with Digital Message Player 635 587 When ordering the Digital Message Player 635 587 it does not come with a message board The chip in IC6 is the motherboard firmware only NOT the msg files Install Message Board Assembly 635 672 into the Digital Message Player 635 587 on the P2 required message board 562 709 has default message chips pre installed under the entire assembly number 635 672 Jumper on 562 711 motherboard should be in JW1 standard position for a 27C256 chip installed in message memory board 562 709 Jumper JW1 should be installed on the 562 709 message memory board as well for the 27C256 chips in the standard message set Tape Player and Digital Message Player have the same pinouts on the P1 connector The player have two inputs and one output to have the message play when in alarm An active input to play a message input voltage 2 activate P1 2 1 activate P1 4 input voltage 2 activate P1 16 1 activate P1 12 Alarm input Positive voltage P1 11 Oscillator Stop Negative output P1 10 the system goes into alarm all three of the above functions must occur for the message to play If system just does a slow woop continually then the Oscillator Stop output may not be tripping the Check the timer module 635 306 if used is plugged in to the correct slot the slow woop starts and then pauses as if the player is playing and then starts again check the player on the Oscillator Control P1 3 and P1 4 input This is the audio input from the player Confirm the on Oscillator Control module JW A is removed See also the following Solutions a href primus 7.0.1825548.2201054 Digital Message player will not play over speakers a a href primus 1.0.2156660.1695645 What are the Pin Assignments for a 2001 Digital Message
