Three 3 unique signals from each circuit Available bell follower application Four 4 Class A or Class B circuits 24 VDC at 3.0 Amps per circuit Built in strobe synchronization City tie or leased line output Coded audibles available Fully programmable On board microprocessor Automatic manual control March time Uniform Code 3 Selectable degrade operation Built in ground fault detection Silenceable non silenceable option Circuits power limited per NEC 760 NFPA 13 pre action and deluge NFPA 2001 FM 200 Releasing Releasing service FM Approved for single and double interlock system operation Overview Zone Indicating Card Model ZIC 4A provides four fully supervised and programmable output circuits use on the FireFinder fire alarm control panels ZIC 4A supplies four 4 B or A circuits power limited to 3.0 Amps maximum circuit Each circuit can be independently for use with listed audible or visual appliances listed emergency audio municipal tie boxes leased lines or as circuits ZC 4A can send audio to additional speaker via the Model EBA2004 A1 booster amplifier Industry Inc Technologies Division View View UL 864 9th Edition Listed ULC Listed 3010 NYC 6160 Fire Dept Approved ZIC 4A plugs into one 1 slot in the Model CC or Model CC 2 Card Cage and has on board LEDs for status and troubleshooting Indication of communication internal operation and conditions are provided as well as of circuit activation or Trouble conditions system status conditions are also reported to each system Person Machine Interface PMI Each or output may be controlled automatically with programming via the ZEUS custom programming tool or manually using the XLS keypad on the PMI control may also be time based circuit or output can be manually or via the PMI keypad Zone Indicating Card ZIC 4A 6315 Overview continued any circuit or output has been the PMI display will indicate the affected circuit or and the System Disable LED will until the circuit or output has been returned the condition Model ZIC 4A circuits can also manually energized or de energized when in the state via the PMI ZIC 4A contains a microprocessor which allows outputs to function in a degrade even if the main FireFinder XLS processor or local network communication link has failed In a mode Model ZIC 4A will respond to an Alarm Trouble from any intelligent addressable initiating or conventional zone initiating device in the same local enclosure NAC zone Each of the four 4 circuits on ZIC 4A can be configured for use as a standard appliance circuit NAC The NAC output be used as a steady strobe synchronized or output Available coding includes ANSI March Time 120 pulse per minute PPM Time 60 PPM March Time 30 PPM Canadian 30 PPM Canadian Two stage 120 PPM and coding may be programmed through logic to transmit to three 3 different signal types depending on priority For instance the same circuit can be to transmit the ANSI Temporal pattern for March Time 120 PPM for tornado notifica and a custom code for recall speaker zone Each of the four 4 circuits on ZIC 4A can be configured for use as a standard circuit in single or dual channel systems ZIC 4A can be used with the Model ZAM 180 bulk or Model ZAC 40 amplifier card Each circuit Model ZIC 4A is limited to 96 Watts per zone zone Each of the four 4 circuits on ZIC 4A can be configured for use as a releasing This circuit can be used to release Sinorix 227 1230 agents For proper supervision of a releasing the Model REL EOL module must be used Model can use power directly from the FireFinder XLS No external regulated power supply is Tie Each of the four 4 circuits on Model ZIC can be configured so that it can be connected to activate a municipal city tie box The circuit meets the of some jurisdictions to allow the box to be before the FACP A leased line module LLM 1 is required for this feature Industry Inc Technologies Division Line Each of the four 4 circuits on Model ZIC 4A be configured for connection to a leased line The can be programmed to transmit Alarm or Trouble signals A leased line module LLM 1 is required for this feature Follower Each of the four 4 circuits on Model can be configured as a NAC that can follow the input another NAC in an external FACP Circuit 1 on a ZIC 4A card within a FireFinder XLS system can be configured as the Bell Follower Primary is connected to the external NAC other ZIC 4A circuit in that enclosure can be to follow the state of the Primary Bell Follower feature can be used to synchronize coded or ANSI patterns for audible sounds with another FACP the power is applied to ZIC 4A and Indicators switch Re initializes Model ZIC 4A card only LED LED Illuminates when the card has failed when the CAN LED fails and Model is in degrade mode LED Illuminates when the HNET communication fails and Model is in degrade mode LED Indicates the detection of a ground condition either negative or on the field wiring of ZIC 4A to indicate the zone been activated either or manually There is 1 LED for each zone the presence of a Trouble LEDs either an open circuit or short circuit on the zone is one 1 LED for each zone and Humidity Range are UL 864 9th Edition Listed for indoor dry within a temperature range of 120 3 to 32 3 0 2 and a relative humidity of at a temperature of 90 3 32 2 for Ordering Indicating Card Releasing Module Note below Ratings Back Plane or
