INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS F A3384 000 Air Filter Assembly DESCRIPTION F A3384 000 replacement air filter for the FAAST 8100 series aspiration comes fully assembled and ready to use It is a 30 micron filter de specifically for use with the FAAST system ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT filter is located behind the Display Door under the User Interface Card as in Figure 1 1 FRONT VIEW OF DETECTOR WITH DISPLAY DOOR OPEN AND INTERFACE CARD IN PLACE INTERFACE CARD Ohio Avenue St Charles Illinois 60174 Fax 630.377.6495 2 FILTER MOUNTING SCREWS WITH USER INTERFACE REMOVED MOUNTING SCREWS NOT OVERTIGHTEN replace the filter perform the procedure in Table 1 1 FILTER REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE performing maintenance notify the proper authorities that the is undergoing maintenance and will temporarily be out of ser Disable the system to prevent unwanted alarms off the system by removing the 24 Volt power connector from the unit by unplugging the converter from its power outlet If power is not removed the unit automatically enters Service when the screws are removed from the filter This removes from the fan and the sensing chamber In addition the filter indicator is illuminated and the urgent relay is set the Display Door as shown in Figure 1 and remove the User card in front of the filter the two Philips head screws securing the filter to the unit shown in Figure 2 the entire filter assembly as shown in Figure 3 with a new by pulling the old filter out and sliding a new filter assembly into position the two Philips head screws to 6in lb 0.7N m or turn snug DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN reinstall the User Interface card 3 REMOVABLE AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY MOUNTING SCREWS NOT OVERTIGHTEN System Sensor 06 10
